Bigg Boss Telugu TV show successfully completed 12 weeks. The fifth season started on a high-voltage note. With 19 members, the show started and today, there are 7 members in the Bigg Boss house.
*Prize Money Announcement*
On Sunday, Nagarjuna announced that the Bigg Boss season 5 winner will win prize money of 50 lakh rupees along with a 3000 square yards plot in Suvarna Kuteer, a venture of Suvarnabhoomi ventures.
*What does 50 lakh rupees mean to you*
Nagarjuna asked the inmates for their plans if they win the prize amount.
Pinky: I’ll give it to my parents and will buy a house for them. I’ll adopt a baby girl to become a mother.
Sreeram: I want Telugu audiences’ acceptance. I will feel that 50 lakhs is a blessing to me and I’ll go forward by constructing a house and living with my parents in it.
Ravi: It’s not money but it’ll be an added advantage. I want to invest some amount in the education sector and also start a production house.
Kajal: If I win this amount, I will clear off 30 lac debt and create an old-age home with all recreations.
Sunny: I’ll give it to my mother and will take some amount to start a salon business.
Maanas: I want to start a production house and scout new talents.
Shanmukh: I’ll give 25 lakhs to my mother since they adopted two people for their education. I’ll give 25 lakhs to my girlfriend Deepthi Sunaina.
Siri: I will clear off Srihan’s parents’ debt. I’ll give some amount to my mother. With the rest of the amount, I’ll help blind people.
*Game One – Chitti Bommalu Cheppe Chitram*
Nagarjuna divided the house into two teams. In this game, the Bigg Boss team gives a clue of a movie name in pictures and words. The inmates will have to guess it.
Team A: Ravi, Shanmukh, Pinky, Sreeram
Team B: Sunny, Kajal, Maanas and Siri
Team B won the game.
*Game Two: Veeri Veeri Gummadi Pandu Veeri Peremi*
In this game, the inmates will be blindfolded. In the garden area, chairs will be placed in different places. The inmates will have to search for their chairs and sit on them.
Siri won this game.
*Bigg Boss’ master stroke to Kajal-Sunny-Maanas*
The final elimination segment was between Ravi and Kajal. Just before facing the final elimination, Kajal understood that she is in the danger zone. Kajal wanted to quit the show based on the votes of the audience. Sunny wanted to give an eviction-free pass to Kajal but she declined it initially. Maanas too convinced her that she should take the pass. In the end, Kajal refused too.
Bigg Boss played a master game here to ensure the eviction-free pass is not with Sunny. Before going into the final elimination round, Nagarjuna asked Sunny if he would like to use the eviction-free pass, either for himself or one of the two persons in the final elimination.
The twist here is, whoever gets the pass from Sunny should get eliminated. Only then, the pass will come of use.
Bigg Boss knew that Ravi is going to get eliminated. Since Kajal is in the danger, Sunny would definitely use the pass for her. As expected, he did the same.
In the end, Kajal was saved by the audience, and Ravi got eliminated. Thus, the eviction-free pass did not come of use to either Ravi or Kajal.
Had Sunny told that he would use the pass for himself, eventually, Ravi would anyhow get eliminated but the pass will come of use for Sunny or his friends again, in the coming week.
Had Sunny used it for Ravi, it would have been a different scenario but everyone knew that Sunny would use it either for Maanas or for Kajal.

Before leaving the Bigg Boss stage, Ravi gave ‘pass’ or ‘fail’ tags to the inmates.
Pass: Sunny, Sreeram and Shanmukh
Fail: Siri, Maanas, Pinky and Kajal
