Big Shock For Radhe Shyam In Home StatesPrabhas‘s big-budget love drama, Radhe Shyam is up for theatrical release in a few hours from now. The film is getting a wide release across the globe, but it is now suffering from a big shocker in home states – Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Radhe Shyam is releasing in a shockingly low number of theatres in AP and Telangana. As of now, the film is said to be releasing in about 860 theatres in the twin Telugu states. The number might go up marginally today as the film gears up for release tomorrow.

As of now, Radhe Shyam is releasing in fewer screens than Bheemla Nayak (around 1075), and Pushpa (around 1150). In fact, senior hero Balakrishna’s Akhanda got a wider release in the Telugu states with over 925 screens.

Not that Radhe Shyam is releasing amidst any competition. Suriya’s ET film is releasing today but it is no direct match to Radhe Shyam. Even Bheemla Nayak, which released a couple of weeks ago has all but completed its theatrical run. So, there appears to be no valid reason behind the low theatre count for Radhe Shyam on home turf.

Prabhas’s fans are now firing on the makers of Radhe Shyam for what is happening in regard to the theatres count. They are visibly anguished with what is happening and are urging the makers to amp up the count.
