Sometimes agreements and contracts signed might become big hurdles when a ‘dream come true’ opportunity knocks our door. Thanks to Tamil producer Gnanavel didn’t turn sour in the eye for director Ranjith who got a dream oppurtunity to direct superstar Rajnikanth.
For a small director like Ranjith who made sensible successful movie like ‘Madras’, directing the superstar is like a big opportunity which came very early. Director Ranjith was in a two-film contract with producer Gnanavel. According to the contract, the director has to work on Suriya’s next movie. But since the superstar want to do a quickie with Ranjith, there had been ambiguity regarding the decision of Gnanavel.
However producer Gnanavel cleared the line for the director accepting him to do Rajnikanth’s movie first and then do his project as per the contract. This relaxation of the terms in the contract is going to help Ranjith big way and use the big opportunity that came his way so early. Lucky guy indeed!
