Mass star Vijay Ilayapathy’s movie ‘Bigil’ will be coming to Telugu as dubbed version titled ‘Vigil’. The producers of the movie are yet to make an official announcement on the release date of the movie.
Meanwhile, rumors are making rounds claiming that the big distributors of the movie are eyeing a Sunday release on 25th October. Most of the movies either eye a Friday release or an early release on Thursday.
That implies that the opening weekend market in the overseas will be lost. If the opening talk turns out to be poor, then, the movie might post below-average numbers. Only Ram Charan’s ‘Yevadu’ was released on a Sunday.
If the rumor turns out to be true, then Vijay’s movie would be the first for a big star to a have a Sunday release only after Ram Charan. One can see that Vijay’s Telugu market has been improving gradually. So, a Sunday release might not be a good thought.
According to the latest reports, the producer of AGS Entertainments gave a clarification that the rumors are false and they didn’t yet decide an amicable release date for ‘Vigil’.
