Vijay Deverakonda has become a brand in himself after his blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’ and also a known person in the Bollywood circles, now. However, his designer Shravya Varma revealed something really surprising.
When she wanted a couple of big designers who aren’t from South to source clothes for Vijay Deverakonda, they sent an email to her outrightly denying to source Vijay only because they weren’t interested in South and Telugu.
She also felt that they didn’t know the magnitude of ‘Arjun Reddy’ success and now, they have opened their stores in Hyderabad and are ready to source for the actor. It puzzled her that they had earlier denied sourcing based on North-South divide.
However, their denial gave her the opportunity to look out for the designers locally who had talent and eventually, discovered people who could live up to her expectations down South.
