Amitabh Bachchan may not have acted in many southern films, but he has worked with several southern stars over the years. In fact, most recently he worked with southern actors such as Nagarjuna, Shivrajkumar and Prabhu in a television commercial. This association has brought all of them very closer with the legendary actor.
The buzz is that Kannada superstar Shivrajkumar has roped in Amitabh Bachchan in his upcoming film Kabira. Apparently, Kabira is the remake of yesteryear Kannada superstar Rajkumar’s Mahatma Kabir. Big B has been offered the role of a teacher in the film, which is expected to go on floors soon. While Big B has not officially confirmed but the word has come the film’s production house who have even locked his dates for shooting. Since it’s a brief role, he’s expected to complete shooting in a day or two.
It is learnt that it was Shivrajkumar who had requested Amitabh to do the cameo and he had apparently agreed to do it.
