Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who played a cameo in Manam, is extremely happy with the response to the film. Recently, he opened up about his association with the late ANR and why agreed to work in Manam, which also features actors from three generations of the Akkineni clan.
In a video, Big B shared that he was extremely happy to be associated with the film. He said I share old family ties with the Akkinenis because of ANR. He was one of the pillars of Indian cinema and his vigor for cinema has made him an important part of our industry. He also said that in spite of ANR achieving so much, he was humble whenever I met him. That’s why when Nag contacted me to work in the film, i immediately said yes. I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to work with the legendary family.
Big B played a very small role in the film, which is directed by Vikram Kumar. The film has turned out to be a big hit. Big B’s presence certainly made a lot of difference for the film’s prospect at the box-office.
