There had been rumors circulating that ‘Bichagadu‘ hero Vijay Antony is going to make his directorial debut with the remake of the blockbuster in Hindi, besides acting in the remake and producing it.
The music director turned actor gave clarification on the rumors and said that he is indeed going to remake the ‘Pichaikaran’ (Bichagadu) in Hindi. He will be the producer of the film and also going to essay the lead role as he did in the original.
But, he isn’t going to make Bollywood debut as a director. The director of the original Sasi is going to helm the remake project as well. Malayalam movies lwith universal themes like ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Bangalore Days’ did well in other languages too. ‘Bichagadu’ may also prove the same in Bollywood as well. Let’s see.
