This time, there is no Independence day hungama at the Indian Box Office. Across the country, Vishwak Sen’s Paagal is the only notable release in all languages. The hungama, however, is on OTT.
On the patriotism theme, we have two films – Shershah and Bhuj – The Pride of India have released on Amazon Prime Video and Disney + Hotstar. Shershah at best is a passable film and Telugu audience could not even manage to sit through it.
Bhuj – The Pride Of India starring Ajay Devgn has had even miserable outing. The movie which has released on Friday has got horrendous reviews. There are some people who try to compare these films with Uri but they can barely stand in the race forget about competing.
Not of Patriotic theme, Nayanthara’s Netrikann also released on Disney+ Hotstar the other day and ended up as a disaster. All these films together leave no options for OTT audience this Independence day.
