The COVID restrictions imposed in Andhra Pradesh expired on Monday. The Government is supposed to clarify what is in store from Tuesday and the industry particularly Bheemla Nayak team is waiting for the clarification regarding the Night Curfew and 50% occupancy.
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in a review meeting has announced that there will be no Night Curfew from February 15th. There is no clarity regarding the theater occupancy. The official G.O. regarding the COVID restrictions did not come at the time of writing this article.
Meanwhile, theaters across the state have Tuesday bookings with 50% occupancy on Book My Show.
That indicates that they do not have a clarity as well. In ideal conditions, the 50% occupancy rule expires on Monday and with no extension, it should be deemed as 100% occupancy.
But then, given the enthusiasm of the state government in seizing the theaters, no one is willing to take the risk.
Bheemla Nayak will arrive on February 25th if the 100% occupancy is given.
If it is not permitted, the movie is likely to be pushed to April 1st. Bheemla Nayak is waiting for clarity.
