amaravati connectivity to rayalaseemaAndhra Pradesh government is focused on improving the connectivity between Amaravati and Rayalaseema. The government is planning to come up with plans to make Rayalaseema just 5 hours away from reaching the new capital. The state government is examining the construction of new four lane and six lane roads between Rayalaseema and Amaravati.

The current distance between Amaravati and Anantapur is 472 Kms. Also there is a dense forest in between which may prove to be dangerous. With government’s new road proposal, the distance will be shortened by 80 Kms and also passing through forest will decrease.

The Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu instructed the officials to make sure the route will be straight. The center previously promised to funds these roads provided the state government takes up necessary land acquisition. The Chief Minister instructed the officials to come up with a plan very soon.
