Bengal Tiger starring Ravi Teja has had a decent weekend at the box office. It collected approximately 17 Cr for the extended four day weekend.
While the number is good for the period the film has released in and also considering the little hype it had prior to release, the weekend number is overall less or similar to Kick 2. The difference being Kick 2 had a normal weekend of three days.
But the real problem for Bengal Tiger is the drop in collections today (Monday). At some places the fall has been steep while in few areas its decent. This trend doesn’t bode well for the overall run of the film. It might still breakeven but big profits might not be the case as initially expected.
