Actress Shiva Parvathi is a veteran actress who appeared in hundreds of films. She also did one of the main villain roles in Balakrishna‘s Seema Simham. During a recent interview, she shared some anecdotes about Natasimham Balakrishna.
Shiva Parvathi recalls that during the shooting of the Devadi Deva song from Okka Magadu, all the artists were stuck inside a temple near Pulivendla as hordes of people from nearby areas thronged the shooting spot. It was past 3 PM, and still, the artists didn’t receive their lunch. The actors were starving for food.
Then a food carriage arrived for Balayya. The food was meant only for Balayya. Since he was the hero of the film, he was getting star treatment. But being the kind-hearted he is, Balakrishna asked Shiva Parvathi to distribute the food equally from the tiffin box. He said that it might not be sufficient, but it would satisfy at least some of the hunger.
