‘Metro’ was first banned in the Tamil Film Industry for its violent content and the Censor Board refused to permit the film to be screened in the theaters. Such was the violence quotient in the movie directed by Ananda Krishnan.
However, the film got an ‘A’ certification and passed through the Censor after the revising Committee’s decision. Though it was appreciated and recorded a hit status, the film was much talked about for the violent content.
Shirish Saravanan, Bobby Simhaa, Sendrayan and Maya essayed crucial roles in this violent film which received critical acclaim. Now, this film ‘Metro’ is coming to Telugu as a dubbed movie to hit theaters on 4th March. Let’s see how audiences in the Telugu States would receive it.
