It was official that UK born Bollywood actress Banita Sandhu had been chosen as the leading lady for the Tamil remake of Arjun Reddy. She replaced Megha Chowdhury who was the heroine in the dumped remake. Her recent interaction made it clear that the shooting is yet to begin.
There had bern reports saying that the Tamil remake will have Summer release. But, at this pace and the shooting yet to begin, we can’t expect it to come for Summer. Banita Sandhu makes it clear that she is yet to join the shooting of the film.and is awaiting the Tamil remake to go on to the sets.
The girl watched the original ‘Arjun Reddy’ and wants the remake to reach the expectations and keep up the soul of the original. That remains to be an uphill task as remaking a blockbuster movie that has an intense drama like in Arjun Reddy is a Herculean task for any filmmaker. That’s why the makers scrapped the movie that was shot by director Bala and are going to reshoot it entirely.
