Bangarraju Underperforming In Key Areas!King Nagarjuna‘s Bangarraju has opened to excellent response in Andhra Pradesh. Along with the postponement of Night Curfew and 50% occupancy in AP combined by the Government allowing hiked rates, the movie had an excellent outing on the festival weekend.

But then, the movie is underperforming in some areas. In Nizam, the movie has collected around 5.6 Crore Share in the four days run. The fourth day Share (55 Lakh) is less than that of Uttarandhra (70 Lakhs). The Nizam rights are valued at around 11 Crore.

The movie is staring at a loss of a minimum of four Crore here if not more. The movie is also performing badly in the United States. It has only collected $215K in the first weekend. The Overseas rights are valued at around 2.5 Crore and it may take home a loss of 1-1.25 Crore minimum. The Monday holiday advantage has been negated by snow in the Sourthern states.

Karnataka, the key state of ROI is also underperforming due to weekend Lockdown and 50% occupancy on the weekdays. Meanwhile, the Night Curfew and 50% occupancy beings in AP from today. Some theaters have adjusted their timings to sneak in a fourth show. We will have to see how these rules will impact the film.

Akkineni fans, however, are saying despite all these issues, the movie will be a hit venture in its full run.
