Naresh’s Bandipotu was launched on Tuesday in Hyderabad on the occasion of his late father EVV Satyanarayana’s birth anniversary. Director Indraganti Mohan Krishna will helm this out-and-out comedy entertainer, which according to him is not based on 1963 Telugu classic of the same name starring senior NTR.
Mohan Krishna said Naresh has been interested to work with him for a very long time but he never had an interesting story for him and when finally he had a full length comedy entertainer, he couldn’t think of anyone else but Naresh for the role. Naresh was equally excited about working with the director because he’s a big fan of his films and has been longing to work with him since Ashta Chamma days.
Naresh’s brother Rajesh will be producing this film, which also features Eesha of Anthaku Mundu Aa Taravatha fame. Rajesh said that he has been waiting for a good project to his revive his father’s production banner. He believes this is an interesting project to restart their home banner EVV Cinema.
