Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘2 States’ was made into a feature film with the same title in Hindi by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. He now sold the remake rights to Abhishek Nama of Abhishek Pictures. The producer has Samantha and Naga Chaitanya in his mind for playing the lead pair.
Here the question is, will they work with a new director Venkat Kunchem who Abhishek Nama is going to launch with this remake? After the wedding news came out, Samantha didn’t sign any movies yet. But, she said that she is keen on doing good roles as she can make choice at this point of her career.
If she agrees and Chai also comes on board, the project will be really interesting as ‘2 States’ is a love story between two lovers who belong to, two different States. Can the new director meet and live up to the expectations on the combo who are lovers in real life too?
