Boyapati who had worked with Sriknath in Sarrainodu was keen to cast him in a negative shade and it happened through Akhanda.
Srikanth reveals that Balakrishna gave a lot of support upon knowing that he would be the villain. “Balakrishna himself said that as they have acted in Sri Rama Rajyam together, it would help me to get a change through the role. If it wasn’t for his support, then I wouldn’t have been in Akhanda,” says Srikanth.
