Suriya fans were delighted when their favorite star began filming for his upcoming project in March with the hugely acclaimed director Bala. This combo has previously collaborated on cult classics like Nandha and Pithamagan (Sivaputrudu). Tentatively titled Suriya 41, the movie also starred youth heartthrob Krithi Shetty opposite Suriya.
The first schedule took place for 34 days at Kanyakumari, claiming that the crew was overjoyed with the results. But the truth happens to be something else.
According to the exclusive reports, the film has been called off. Though the exact reasons are unknown, it has been cited that the director and actor had a major difference of opinions. There are reports that Suriya and Bala had a severe tiff on the shooting spot and that an upset Suriya had walked out of the set in a fit of anger.
Suriya fans on social media were seen blaming Bala as his last film, Aditya Verma, the remake of Arjun Reddy, also went through a lot of troubles because of the eccentric behavior of the director. They were also expressing their happiness that Suriya got rid of the director, who is way past his prime.
The reports suggest that Suriya has now planned to shoot Hari’s film next in June. He is also committed to doing Annaatthe fame Siva’s next.
