Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh Competition For Second SpotThere are four top senior stars, Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh. Among them, Chiranjeevi has been in a separate league for a long time which was again demonstrated with his comeback.

So, leaving the Megastar aside (for now due to Sye Raa), usually, the order has been Nandamuri Balakrishna at the second place followed by Nagarjuna and Venkatesh who were interchangeable based on the success. The past few years gave clarity in that order, what with Balakrishna always scoring in the openings and also proving through a couple of long runs. Nagarjuna bounced back with Manam and continued that form until recently. Only Venkatesh was lagging.

However, post F2, Venkatesh has bounced back big time and gave a glimpse of his stardom and why he was considered one among the top 4. With F2 crossing 75 Cr mark, he has opened up the second spot among the senior stars.

Right now, all three stars have an excellent lineup. Venkatesh has Venky Mama coming up, Balakrishna has a film with Boyapati Sreenu, and finally, Nagarjuna has Bangarraju, a sequel to Soggade Chinni Nayana. Each film is going to be a thorough commercial fare. Whoever surpasses F2 (including Venkatesh) in the long run would be taking the second spot.

The important thing to remember here for fans is that these senior stars have nothing to prove at this stage of their career. It is just for fun for the new generation of the audience to understand their strengths and see how competitive they were at their peak.
