It has become a tradition that the actors of the 80s era meet every year to celebrate their friendship and enjoy the nostalgia. The 10th-year reunion was hosted by Chiranjeevi in 2019 at his luxurious house in Hyderabad. Due to COVID, there was no such event in 2020 and 2021.
This year the 11th reunion party of the 80s stars happened in Mumbai and almost 40 stars from South India attended the event that included Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Arjun, Naresh, Sarath Kumar, Bhanuchander, Ramya Krishna, Khushboo, Ambika, Radha, and others. Bollywood beauties of the 80s like Poonam Dhillon, Padmini Kolhapuri, and Tina Ambani also graced the event.
But the one major star who was missing was Nandamuri Balakrishna. For reasons unknown, Balakrishna skipped the event. He was also not a part of the event that happened in 2019 and 2018.
Since Megastar’s Waltair Veerayya and Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy are going to clash this Sankranthi season, it would have been interesting to see Chiru and Balayya together at the reunion party.
Nagarjuna, who is a regular at the 80s reunion party, also was missing this year.
