Balakrishna’s 100th film, historical drama ‘Gouthamiputra Sathakarni’ made the yesteryear dream girl Hema Malini comeback to Telugu films nearly after half a century. She is playing the mother of Balakrishna’s character in the movie.
Balakrishna gave a traditional welcome to the yesteryear diva by presenting her with the traditional Lepakshi saree. Naturally, Hema Malini was overwhelmed by this gesture and reminisced those days when she had danced for a special dance number in Senior NTR’s movie ‘Pandava Vanavasam’.
After a couple of South movies doing unimportant roles, Hema Malini went to Bollywood and became one of the top actresses of that time and earned the title ‘Dream Girl’. Tollywood missed her during the initial days of her career, but Balakrishna is bringing back the senior actress to Telugu films after long.
