Nandamuri Balakrishna is currently working on director Boyapati Srinu’s Akhanda. There are a lot of expectations on this film as this is the third collaboration between the two, after the super successful Simha and legend.
The title teaser of the film was recently released, and it is creating new records. Akhanda teaser clocked in more than 11 million views within 24-25 hours, while RRR teaser took four weeks to get 7M views, and Bheem for Ram took 4 weeks to reach 12 M views.
On the other hand, in a recent interview, artist Sammeta Gandhi, who is a part of Akhanda, said that Balakrishna’s entry in the film would be extraordinary. He said that director Boyapati has given him special instructions to not reveal the entry anywhere, as it is going to be huge. He also said that he’s going to play a highly important role in the film. Sammeta Gandhi said that it was a pleasure working under Boyapati’s direction as the director gives an actor the freedom to act out a scene as they see fit. He also shared an incident where Boyapati okayed one of his scenes in the very first take, and 200 unit members ended up clapping for him.
Akhanda is scheduled to release on May 28th, and it is to be seen if the film will stick to its date, given that many films have been postponed so far, because of the second wave of Coronavirus.
