Back then, Balayya was famous for action mass entertainers with faction backdrop. Since Balakrishna already did three movies that involve ‘Crime and Punishment’ kind of story treatment, Balayya dropped the movie and that Vijayendra Prasad’s story went to Jr NTR as ‘Simhadri’.
