Day by day, the information being leaked to media on Balakrishna’s 100th film ‘Gouthamiputra Shathakarni’ is turning out to be interesting. Since it’s a periodical film, the cast of the film would be deciding as such films demand seasoned actors.
As per the latest reports, yesteryear ‘Dream girl’ Hemamalini is going to be approached to play Rajamatha (royal mother) in this film. If she accepts this role, then she would be making her comeback to Telugu Film Industry after almost 51 years.
The last Telugu audiences saw her in a Telugu film was in ‘Pandava Vanavasam’ which was released in 1965. Though, she is basically a Tamilian, she ruled Bollywood as one of the top actresses in 70’s and 80’s. By the way, Hemalmalini is a popular classical dancer even. Let’s see, if she chooses to comeback to Telugu movies.
