Dil Raju is known for his boasting speeches about his choice of scripts. Apparently, he has a great judgment about scripts and audience pulse which he thought for his latest release, Iddari Lokam Okkate, and the film couldn’t even make a 1000 bucks at the US box office.
Staring Raj Tarun and Shalini Pandey, they hoped for a great success of the film that too with the star producer’s backing, the makers expected a lot from the film which only ended up being a double disaster. Having had a Christmas release, the Iddari Lokam Okkate settled at a gross of $789 at the US box office which is clearly a flop collection.
On the contrary, his other film released this year for Sankranthi, F2 – Fun and Frustration was a blockbuster outing for Dil Raju that grossed a whopping $2.1 million and the year-end release, Iddari Lokam Okkate couldn’t even get to $1000. That’s how the star producer’s judgment failed.
