A photograph of a signboard at Chennai International Airport is going viral on social media particularly in the pages related to other countries. It is for no good reason but for a poorly translated message on it.
The airport officials put up the board to forbid any one from eating anything on the carpet area. But they have got the message as “Eating carpet strictly prohibited” which gave a very different and silly meaning.
The sign board was spotted by a businessman by the name of Justin Ross Lee a few days ago and he uploaded it on social media. As soon as the photo was uploaded, it went viral and spread every one and foreigners were seen mocking the country’s communication skills.
