The reigning Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay is taking risks back to back. In turn, they are giving super excitement to the fans.
Finally, after lots of speculations, Thalapathy65 is officially announced today (December 10th). It is not AR Murugadoss, but a two-film old director Nelson Dhilip Kumar. He is the person behind the much loved Nayanthara starrer CoCo (Kolamavu Kokila), and the yet to release Sivakarthikeyan starrer Doctor.
After working on the trot with Atlee and AR Murugadoss in the past, Vijay has picked two exciting young directors for his new films. The first one was Master which is creating a sensational buzz. And now this project is similarly hyped with the announcement itself. Moreover, there are plans to give it a pan-India touch.
Sun Pictures produces Thalapathy65. Anirudh is roped in as music director for the yet-untitled film. It will be his second straight outing with Vijay.
The rest of the cast and crew of the movie will be unveiled soon. The regular shoot of Thalapathy65 is likely to begin post Pongal or later in January after all the work with Master is complete.
Thalapathy65 will be aiming for an Independence Day 2021 release if there are no issues with the shooting. Watch this space for more updates on this massive South-Indian project featuring the current craziest star all over, Vijay.
