Rajinikanth appears to be having a busy time in the film industry. With his next movie, a re-release of Sivaji in a 3D version, scheduled to be released on 12.12.12 on his 62nd birthday, and Kochadaiyaan, directed by his daughter Soundarya R Ashwin following soon during the Pongal holiday in January 2013, Rajinikanth apparently has also decided to return to the Hindi cinema with KC Bokadia’s next movie titled Dirty Politics.
Dirty Politics recounts the story of the famous Bhanwari Devi case in Rajasthan where a prominent politician was investigated the alleged murder of a midwife named Devi who went missing in 2011 with her body being eventually found days later.
Although the cast of the movie is not yet confirmed, reports say that Rajinikanth will likely play an important role in the films with Mallika Sherawat playing the lead role of the devi character. Sources also report Om Puri, Anupam Kher, Atul Kulkarni and Ashutosh Rana and Jackie Shroff as other likely cats for the film.
