director teja srimanthudu commentsDirector Teja has become active nowadays as his film ‘Hara Hori’ is going to hit theatres very soon. It’s natural that he would be giving promotional interviews speaking about his film and lot more. In one such interview Teja takes a dig at Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’.

He calls it another ‘Babu’ formula film in which a hero comes to a villages keeping his identity a secret and works for the greater good. This is what he told about formulaic films during the audio launch event of ‘Hora Hori’ even. He thinks our heroes like scripts that are considered to be safe bets.

Also he says that our star heroes don’t know about a film’s appreciation. That fact can be seen when heroes have fan-appeasing dialogues rather than thinking of appeasing common audiences. He quotes the example of ‘Ghajini’, which few big names in the industry thought it has no story.

People who to go theaters every week for entertainment are common audiences and it is this common audiences who made ‘Baahubali’ a super successful film. Here rather than the fan base, the common audiences who forgot to go to theatres, for a change flocked to theatres to watch ‘Baahubali’, said Teja.
