National Award winning cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee who worked for Bollywood historical film ‘Bajirao Mastani’ was roped in for Tamil film ( a trilingual) ‘Sangamitra’, the film which is said to be going to be bigger than Baahubali in the terms of budget spent on the movie.
All the award winning technical team are coming on board one by one for the film. Academy Award winners aka music maestro A.R. Rehman and sound designer Rasool Pookutty, and art director Sabu Cyril were also roped in for this magnum opus.
The director of the film C. Sundar is yet to finalise the cast of the film. We already know that mass star Vijay was not interested to take up a period film and give bulk dates for an year. So he rejected the film, not taking any further risk after ‘Puli’s experience. No big actors’ names are attached to the film right now.
