Music of Baahubali has been launched in a grand way, so what about the actual music of the film? Does it match the grandness of the film?
The best thing about the album is the local flavor that is present in it. Sometimes what happens with project as big as this is that the makers in sight of the larger box office perspective and market lose focus on the native aspects that makes it appeal to the local audience in the first place? The music here without any doubt has that local flavor that would appeal to the people locally sooner or later.
Now let’s take a look at the problem, which is the actual music itself. It is not the instantly appealing variety with chartbuster songs. One needs to get used to it in repeat viewing and even after that only few songs manage to stick. It is up to the picturization of songs to create an impact in larger sense which going by the visuals in the trailer should be a cake walk.
Overall Baahubali as a standalone album is decent with few good numbers. For greater impact let’s wait for the movie to release.
