While we are aware of the movie, not many know of the director. Well, his name is KR Sachidanandan, aka Sachy. A piece of sad news has come out for movie lovers. He has been admitted to hospital with a critical condition.

Sachy has had a hip operation after which he developed complications. He had a cardiac arrest following it. It was then he got moved from one hospital to another.

The latest update from the hospital regarding Sachy’s health is very grim. The official report suggests that the director might have hypoxic brain damage. It means the blood supply to his brain has been cut off. The brain has suffered an injury, and the doctors are doing the best they can to get him back to stability.

A better idea of Sachy’s condition can only be known in the next forty-eight to seventy-two hours.

Sachy has been working in the Malayalam film industry as a writer for a long time. He was a frequent collaborator with Prithviraj as a writer. His first film has director was in 2015. However, it was the blockbuster success of Ayyappanum Koshiyum that put him under the spotlight all over. While the discussions about remake are happening in Telugu, an official remake is confirmed in Tamil and Hindi.
