'Awe'-Director-Prashanth-Varma-Proves-He-Is-No-Trivikram-SrinivasFor Telugu Audiences, ‘Awe‘ is a pure out-of-the-box movie and we can say that it is first of its kind of movie in the Telugu Film Industry. There are no scenes or moments written or shown for the sake commercial viability and truly stick to the concept without resorting to gimmicks.

But, this movie has a connection with Hollywood movie ‘Identity’. However, it’s just an inspiration and not even one scene or any of the moments of the movie was lifted from the original. Though the idea was taken as an inspiration, Prashanth Varma rewrote the story and reworked on the entire plot.

This reminds us of Trivikram how he lifted the entire story, the major scenes, even the fights and the sets from the French movie ‘Largo Winch’ for ‘Agnyaathavaasi’. But, the debut director totally owned the movie with only a bit of inspiration.

There will be different opinions from the audiences with regard to ‘Awe’ as this is a complete out-of-the box movie. Prashanth Varma needs to be lauded for not copying the movie and also for making a genuine movie without liberties for the sake of audiences reception. Kudos!
