There is a big rumour on music director Devisri Prasad that the quality of the music he delivers depends on the stature of the hero, average tunes for small heroes and blockbuster music for the star heroes. In a recent interview, DSP responded to this rumor.
It’s not the hero that makes a difference. He is a good listener and likes to listen to the narration. He travels with the story while making the tunes same as a hero owns his character. The basic composition for all the movies will be the same but for star heroes, he tries to add their style to the tunes. That makes the difference.
The point he explained is valid and recently, he had delivered good albums for movies like ‘Kumari 21F’ and ‘Nenu Local’ and now working for Nani’s ‘MCA’. He has delivered an okayish album for this Friday’s release, ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’ starring Bellamkonda Srinivas. This is his fourth collaboration with director Boyapati Srinivas.
