The Avengers: Endgame has run riot on its opening day. It was expected to create history, and that is precisely what it has achieved for a Hollywood movie in India. In the process, Avengers: Endgame has proved to be a great embarrassment for Bollywood.
Avengers: Endgame on its opening day has collected 53 Cr Nett. It is including all the languages, Hindi, English, Telugu and Tamil. It is the third biggest all languages combined opener in India after Baahubali 2 and 2.0. The Hollywood production has displaced Thugs of Hindostan which was previously in the third place.
The most embarrassing aspect here is the phenomenal achievement on just 2800 screens. The Bollywood biggies get released in over 4500 screens on an average. On top of that, Avengers: Endgame was a non-Holiday release. In fact, all the three top openers are the same in comparison to the biggest Bollywood opening days which are all on Holidays.
The way the second day has started and the bookings are done for the weekend, Avengers: Endgame is sure to set the box office on fire for the first weekend as well.
