The name might not strike instantly, but he is the CEO of Reliance Entertainment which has co-produced several movies in Telugu, and other languages. The most notable is the Pawan Kalyan starrer Atharintiki Daredi.
Shibashish Sarkar has been feeling unwell for the past few days. He recently developed a fever. It was then that he instantly got taken to the hospital. He has been admitted to Kokilaben Ambani hospital. According to the latest reports, he is well on his way to recovery.
On the professional front, Shibashish Sarkar (as CEO of Reliance Entertainment) has been recently involved in two of the biggest Bollywood movies, Sooryavanshi and 83 starring Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh respectively. They were supposed to be the tentpole releases of the summer of 2020. The unfortunate situation of COVID-19 put breaks to the massive plans.
However, unlike other makers, Shibhashish is clear when 83 and Sooryavanshi will hit the cinemas. They will be on hold until things get normal and will only be a cinematic treat promised the produced, previously. Well, we hope he recovers soon, and things get normal, as well.
