For those of you who follow Telugu cinema regularly the title of the news item is a dead giveaway but for those unaware, well, we are talking about the film Alludu Sreenu. It marks the debut of son of producer Bellamkonda Suresh as hero.
The film according to sources in the industry has gone way over the initially planned budget. Although not officially a confirmed figure many say the budget has crossed the 40cr figure which is clearly huge any which way one looks at it. Delay in the shoot, presence of star heroine like Samantha, Tamannah for an item number and technicians, is said to be the reason for this unexpectedly huge budget. It will be a record of sorts for sure if the makers are able to recover their investment on the film as so far no debut hero film has grossed that much.
