Ever since Asin entered Bollywood with Ghajini, she had completely discarded southern industry which gave her the initial push in her cinematic career. She was hated by her fans down south for ditching them, but there finally seems to be some good news. Asin is expected to make a southern comeback with upcoming Mani Ratnam film.
A close source to Asin confirms the news by saying that she has been offered the Mani Ratnam’s bilingual featuring Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu. Asin seems to have liked the script and has expressed her interest but is yet to sign on the dotted lines. Apparently, she didn’t return to south all these years because she didn’t get any exciting project.
Asin has been considered because Ash has turned down the offer as she’s still not ready to make a comeback. Let’s wait for official confirmation on this news. If Asin makes a comeback, it will be exciting to watch her on the screen again after a hiatus.
