Arvind Swamy who is playing the villain in Ram Charan’s upcoming movie ‘Dhruva’ is also shooting for his next ‘Bogan’ in Tamil alongside his ‘Thani Oruvan’ (original of ‘Dhruva’) hero Jayam Ravi. The film is set to release in December 2016.
At this juncture, one cinematographer turned director Antony claims that ‘Bogan’ is his story which he registered and alleges that the producers of the film are threatening him with goondas. But, the director Lakshmanan claims that his story is his own thought though not registered with the writers association SIFWA.
Antony says that he is being pressurized to withdraw the case. But, Lakshmanan says Antony’s only motto is to extract money from the makers of the movie when the film is almost complete and is getting ready for release.
Going by the arguments of these two people, we understand that the two stories have similar story lines. Antony has registered his story and Lakshmanan hasn’t. ‘Bogan’ director says that though the story lines might be similar, his script is original and Antony can’t claim it as his own.
