Long ago when the film finally took off the makers of the upcoming film of NTR Nannaku Prematho announced that it would be arriving a week before Sankranthi on January 8. The same date was maintained even when the first look poster and teaser of the film was released.
But lot has happened from then till now and the silence on part of the makers is killing the fans. There is a strong buzz in the industry and trade circles that it would be very hard for Nannaku Prematho to make it to the Sankranthi festival. On top of that the in-family rivalry and bitterness with Nandamuri Balakrishna is adding fire to the fuel with the release of Dictator.
Given all these happening outside the control of the makers of Nannaku Prematho and subsequently lack of clarity, fans are getting hurt. They had to face a similar situation last year when the Sankranthi release ‘Temper’ was shifted to February. However unlike the last time which was very personal involving Janakiram’s death, this time they see no reason to have postponement.
From makers perspective they want to be sure about the completion of the film first and then announce a final date accordingly. If they make a date official keeping fans sentiments in mind, a postponement then would be even more detrimental to everyone involved including the fans. The final conclusion keeping all things in mind is the fans need to keep the emotions in check and be prepared for all the possibilities rather than forcing the makers to take a hasty decision.
