After the Liger fiasco, Puri Jagannath is trying to make a solid comeback with his next. He wants to revive his career and wipe off the bad name he got after Liger.
If reports are to be believed, then Puri has narrated two different stories to Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna. It is also said that both heroes have shown interest in the stories and have asked him to develop them.
If things fall in place, the projects might get finalized. As of now, they are in the very early stages.
Puri has been dying to work with Chiru for many decades now. H worked with Balakrishna in Paisa Vasool, in which he showed Balayya in a different light. The film wasn’t successful, so he is looking for a second chance to deliver a successful film with Balakrishna.
Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna already have their kitty full with films like Meher Ramesh’s Bholaa Shankar and Anil Ravipudi’s NBK108. They have some other projects lined up, which might be announced in a few months. So it has to be seen if both senior heroes have the time and courage to do a film with Puri Jagannath at this stage of their career.
