For any movie, the most fearful thing is a leak of the footage before release. It is a scary thing as one is not sure what kind of reaction it could generate. There have been ample examples, where leaks didn’t cause any damage and helped build hype around the movie. There are very fewer examples of the opposite because if it’s bad, movies usually tank and people hardly talk about them.
Today, a teaser of Young Tiger NTR surfaced online. It was leaked, and the culprit is apparently arrested. But the damage is done. It is ‘damage’ because the response hasn’t been positive. The teaser according to the official response was a work in progress, and that seems to weigh heavily in the reactions which are pulling it down.
Should, the makers opt for a new plan now, regarding promotion or continue with the previously planned things as it is because this leakage surely has been a big spoiler in that regard. A brand new teaser with quality visuals could bring back the mojo among fans. But is the time enough? The unit had previously promised teaser in the first week of July, and that’s not very far away.
Bobby directs Jai Lava Kusa, where Jr NTR will be seen in three different roles. Various gossips are floating around the ‘one’ particular character among the three. Let’s hope the unit gets that USP back on track. Jai Lava Kusa is slated to release worldwide on September 21, unless there are any more surprises in store.
