AR-Murugadoss-Who-Talked-Ethics-Resorted-to-PlagiarismAR Murugadoss is very serious and also issued a warning to the junior artist of his upcoming movie ‘Sarkar’. Why? It’s because they are giving interviews without his permission and hence, he threatened them that he would take strict legal action against those who give interviews without consent.

All said and done, the filmmaker who talked about ethics is now facing the plagiarism charges from a young writer and director Varun Rajendran who claims that Murugadoss has copied his story titled ‘Sengol’ that he had even registered in 2007. When he came to know that there are similarities between his story and Vijay Ilayapathy’s movie ‘Sarkar’, he filed a petition with the Writers’ Association.

It’s ironical that both Murugadoss’ warning to his junior artists and the plagiarism charges against him came at the same time. It has to be seen whether or not the charges against him will be proved or else will everything gets settled after coming to an understanding between the two parties. Plagiarism charges are not new to many of our renowned filmmakers and they are mostly settled with a mutual understanding.
