Andhra-pradesh-e-transactionsAndhra Pradesh and Telangana leads the country in number of National Electronic Transactions since May 1. While AP registered the highest number of e-transactions (3.51 crore), Telangana came second with 2.52 crore.

AP and Telangana were followed by Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala, accoridng to the website of the Electronic Transaction Aggregation and Analysis Layer (eTaal) of the Union Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY).

Central government is encouraging e-transactions as a bid to discourage the use of money transactions by which black money can be curbed. Buying and Selling through e-transactions will also reveal the real income of people and can book the tax evaders.
