Well first of all let’s clarify that it’s Anushka Sharma from Bollywood and not South Indian actress Anushka. The Bollywood lasso is apparently quoting too much price and this is putting off a number of Telugu producers from getting her cast in Telugu films. Anushka Sharma despite acting predominantly in Hindi films has huge craze among the youth in Telugu as well. This is one of the reasons why the actress has been approached many times by our producers to pair her up with our Telugu stars. Producers of the upcoming films of Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun and Jr NTR fall into this category.
And if we think about it her demand too may be right. The actress is currently one of the busiest heroines around in Hindi and a lot of offers from big production houses in Hindi as well. Apart from that she gets a great deal of amount from ads and attending other fashion shows etc. when she gets such huge amounts without breaking any sweat why would she choose to do a Telugu film, which in any case doesn’t offer any scope for performances from heroines. We aren’t really surprised by this decision of acting pricy from her as a result. Do you feel the same?
