Arundathi is undoubtedly the most memorable films in Anushka’s career. After the movie, she had tried hand in several such movies with out much success. And now she is going to play the role of Rani Rudramma Devi in a movie on the historical figure. However, things will not be so easy for her, she have to undergo rigorous training in martial arts and the body language of the warrior queen. She had reportedly allotted 45 days for the training before the movie goes on to sets in February, 2013.
Padma Sri Thota Tharani is going to design the sets of the film based on Warangal architecture. Maestro Ilayaraja will be composing the tunes for the movie. Cinematography is by Ajay Vincent, editing is by Srikara Prasad, action is by Ram-Laxman, Kamal Kannal is the VFX Superviser (Prasad EFX), Neeta Lulla is the costumes designer (Jodha Akbar fame), while story, screenplay, direction and production are by Gunasekhar.
