Anti-Climax For RGV’s Power StarYet another Ram Gopal Varma’s attempt has flattered to deceive. His latest outing named Power Star is another disappointment of epic proportions.

Power Star is based on Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. The story centres on events post the debacle of Janasena Party in the Assembly elections of 2019. The stills, poster, and trailer alluded to something potentially controversial. But, the final output is something else.

For starters, Power Star is said to be nothing but a short film. It is under forty minute’s length. But, more importantly, there is nothing new in it that is unknown or controversial. In fact, on the reverse, it passes a message to Pawan Kalyan that he should be careful with the people around him. It is what even the fans of the star say and wish Pawan Kalyan takes care.

The fact that Ram Gopal Varma created such a massive brouhaha over Power Star and got fans to enrages suggests manipulative nature of the (once upon a time) maverick maker.

It is clear that he is picking people or topics that are easy soft targets. He then goes on to make films like Power Star, which keeps him in the news. The whole discourse seems to be timepass affair for him and nothing more than it.

Those who still want to watch Power Star can watch it at RGV World Theatre ( http://rgvworld.in/ ). It is streaming all over from today (July 25th). But, beware you have been warned of absolute waste of time.
