The trailer of Nani and Nazriya Nazim’s Ante Sundaraniki is out now. It essentially builds on the platform laid by the teaser, where we are introduced to the love story between a Hindu guy, played by Nani and Christian girl, played by Nazriya.
The trailer is loaded with situational comedy scenes. Nani and Nazriya pull all stops to convince their families for their inter-community marriage. Their failed attempts give scope for witty and situational comedy.
Nani sticks to his strength – witty comedy. His portrayal of a struggling lad looks fun. His dialogue delivery and funny mannerisms are highlighted in the trailer. Nazriya plays Christian lady and she looks apt. She appears to have come up with a cute act. Their chemistry looks good.
Naresh, Rohini, Kedar Shankar, and Nadiya suit the specifications of strict parents. The director Vivek Athreya is known for clean and fresh comedy. He has an interesting story at hand. But the sensitive inter-community love track needs to be handled well if it is to bring the house down.
The visuals look sleek and the background score suits the vibe. The focal point is the situational comedy.
Ante Sundaraniki is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and it is up for release on 10th June.
